Welcome to 2013

Thank you to everyone who purchased from Gabe Pedals and gabepedals.etsy.com in 2012. It was a busy holiday season with better than expected sales, and 2013 looks to be the best year yet. Sales were enough that I was able to make another contribution to Compassion International's Water of Life program in December. That's another 1 million gallons of clean drinking water for those in need around the world, thank you!

The hot item from Gabe Pedals at the moment is the Signal Saver line buffer pedal. It was a sleeper for most of 2012, but it's getting attention from musicians who know they need a buffer in their signal chain to regain signal lost through pedals and cables. You'll never go without it once you try it!

Shop now in production mode

I am now in production mode in the shop, working on stock for the fall and Christmas season. New products will include a new higher power cigar box guitar amplifier, higher power iPod amplifier, a new version of the 12AU7 Tube Overdrive, and the first fuzz pedal.

The Red Chip guitar amp head with headphone jack has been popular among those looking on gabepedals.etsy.com. It's powered by a 9v battery and can power a guitar cabinet, all the way up to a 4 x 12", or be used with a pair of headphones. It's great for travel and even has a carry handle. Check it out in the shop!

FET Preamp a Hit!

The FET Preamp is selling well, with very good user feedback coming in. So often, a quality preamp is needed and my pre is ultra quiet, and has very long battery life. Ukelele players can benefit from it's small, unseen design, in an instrument that does not have onboard electronics.

There is an upgraded version of the FET Pre, complete with a output boost switch and volume control available as well.

Amp and Pedal Sales Make Another 1 Million Gallons Of Pure Drinking Water Possible!
Recent amp and pedal sales have allowed me to make another donation to Compassion International's Water of Life program. This allows one million gallons of unsafe water to be filtered and provide safe drinking water and hygiene education  for children in 26 countries around the world.

I can never say this too many times- I build what people ask me to build. This year has already been a flurry of questions about what might be possible for a particular pedal, or guitar setup. That is what I'm here to do! Want a yellow or red fasel in your wah pedal? No problem! Need a new pot or switch put in a pedal? I can do that! Don't know what may be possible to improve the sound of your setup, just ask me. I'm here, and happy to help.

NEW FET Preamp Available

The FET Pre was built due to multiple requests for an inexpensive, but quality preamp for passive pickups such as those used on an acoustic bass and violin. I hesitate to call it an acoustic preamp because it also works well with electric guitars using passive pickups. This is a must have box!
